Our story

Wagtail is a small team of dog people and cat people. We started it because we kept buying pet gear that looked great in photos and fell apart in a week.

How we pick what we sell

Every toy, bed and feeder goes home with one of us for a month before it goes on the site. Our office terrier, Pickle, gets the first go at anything with a seam. If it does not survive her, we do not sell it.

What you can count on

• Free shipping on US orders over $35.
• 30 days to decide. If your pet is not a fan, send it back, even if it has been chewed.
• Real people answer every email, usually the same day.
